Dr John Speller will tell us about the frequent mistakes made by scientists in English. Dr. Speller is a native speaker and has been teaching in this field for years. (presentation in English)

dr Grzegorz Liśkiewicz will conduct a course entitled “Dos and don’ts in academic publishing”. He will tell how to choose an appropriate journal. Is it better to earn points for the scholarship or to strive for the quality of publication, sometimes at the expense of income? These and other topics will be discussed by Dr Liśkiewicz, a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Lodz University of Technology, who is actively involved in the social and scientific life of our University. Alicja Rasmus, M. Sc., will teach us how to manage time efficiently, which can be particularly useful in times of pandemic. Mrs. Rasmus is a professional coach and at the Lodz University of Technology she provides career counseling and conducts training in soft skills. (presentation in Polish)
